THERE WILL BE BLOOD:rnMETAphrenie Delivers for “Gettysburg”: Promo, Open and Logo AnimationrnPart of a Major Cross-Platform CampaignrnrnCollaborating with History Channel for the second time this year, METAphrenie has delivered a new promo and show open for the high profile movie event “Gettysburg.” The two-hour special, Executive Produced by Ridley Scott and Tony Scott, presents the engagement in a new light imbuing the stories of eight soldiers with the terrifying experience of war.rnrnInspired by the tone of the show, METAphrenie created a poignant promo fueled by the heat of war. The 1:00 spot was one of the main components of a cross-platform campaign for the event with placement on-air, in theaters, and as part of the digital & social media campaign. In addition, the logo animation was displayed on huge monitors in New York’s Bryant Park within an outdoor interactive experience. METAphenie also delivered the opening sequence for the movie, which is narrated by Sam Rockwell. rnrnMETAphrenie founder and Creative Director, Andrea Dionisio, said, “When we started seeing footage from the movie we knew we had the opportunity to create a memorable and emotional piece. We drew inspiration from the song ‘Running Up That Hill’ to help tell the story of the soldiers fighting in battle. We chose a mix of close-ups and sweeping action shots and treated the footage to create a visceral connection with war.”rnrnHistory Channel Senior Creative Director Pablo Pulido says, “METAphrenie exceeded all expectation during the Gettysburg project. Their execution was outstanding: definitively one of the best pieces of the year. Not only do I want to continue to collaborate with METAphrenie, their work with History has raised the bar of excellence for the network.”rnrnTo view the spot please visit: http://vimeo.com/metaphrenie/gettysburgrnrnrnAbout METAphrenie rnMETAphrenie creates award-winning visual solutions for advertising, marketing, and the broadcast industry.
