Don: Reliable Sausage

DON Smallgoods is a deli-meat brand. If you are Australian, you would know that, because for 20 years the spokesperson has been a famously fictional migrant butcher with bad English. Naturally, he is called ‘The Don’.

DDB Group Melbourne created a series of radio ads celebrating the AFL football final series with it’s own series of radio ads for DON Footy Franks, a much loved and consumed staple of the DON range.

Considering every Australian football team has a ‘club song’ for celebrating victory, Don decides to create his own song to win over fans. But instead of singing about victories and premierships, Don sings about, well, boiled sausage.
