A few months ago we launched a special recruitment campaign which looked for a programmer via the popular game Diablo 3.If you were wondering whether we succeeded or not check out the video case we made.BBR Saatchi&Saatchi IL, recruited a "god damned" good programmer in a place where they can usually be found – in the realms of the most popular game ever released, Diablo 3.
This is the first time that a job interview took place inside the realms of a computer game – a great opportunity not only to make the usually stressful interviewing process more fun, but also to appeal to the target audience, and let them show their skills in a place they feel at home (hell). Yossi Lubaton, the agency's CEO (and a Level 60 Barbarian), met worthy candidates who rose up to the challenge. They played alongside Lubaton's character in some of the toughest multiplayer missions of the game. During the mission, the candidates were asked a series of personal and professional questions, and were also judged by their game skills: fast reaction time, creative thinking and teamwork. He who excelled the interview in hell, scored the legendary Warmonger sword, one of the most hard-to-get items in the game, along with tons of gold and was summoned to an interview with Lubaton in the agency's offices.
