Dignity International – an organization with representation in Brazil fighting against inequality and discrimination around the world – returns to the media this week with a campaign signed by Grey Brazil. The 3-ad series points out that slave labor continues being a real and present problem, which is still far from being solved once and for all.
The pieces were inspired by classic illustrations done in dip pen, very common in history textbooks. The art that demonstrates slave labor throughout the centuries gains subtle tones of modernity with the inclusion of smartphones, tablets and notebooks used by the characters in the images, pointing out how the problem is present to this day and the urgency of the situation in several social classes and situations.
