Shopping for your father is a challenging task for most. Often times, gift-givers are scrambling for last minute ideas and opt for typical Father’s Day gifts, like socks, ties and belts. Unfortunately gift-givers are mis-lead by their Father’s “thank you, ” into believing they made a great gift choice. In an insertion running the Friday before Father’s Day, the Art of Shaving created a campaign playing on the distinct difference between a Father’s polite response, and a response they really, really mean. Typically, a caring Father would reply with a polite “thanks,” when receiving a gift they have no use for, but when they receive a gift they are actually excited about they don’t just say “thanks”, they emulate it.
