McDonald's: Signs

Embed Video
McDonald's signs have always been a tool for restaurant owners to announce deals and products launches, but many of them have also conveyed messages of love, hope and respect. Through a collection of real signs in local communities – from small towns to big cities – the agency wanted to show that lovin' has always been a part of McDonald's, long before it was part of the new brand vision.

'Signs' is another way McDonald's is shining a little more light on the lovin' that surrounds us. An important part of the journey to transform the customer experience is building upon relationships with their customers. Their restaurant signs convey more than just promotions, they put lovin' into the communities they serve with messages of support, gratitude and hope.

People can learn more about the stories behind the signs on McDonald's Tumbler page (McDonalds.Tumblr.com), co-created by Leo Burnett Chicago and DDB Chicago, through the lens of the people and places in each community.
