Doctors of the World is an international humanitarian organization that provides emergency and long-term medical care to vulnerable populations. Their Swedish organization were in need of publicity in order to raise funds. But they had no money for an ad campaign.

So JMW Sweden created Screen Donor, an app that turns your smart phone display in to an ad space communicating good causes. Most people leave their smart phones on the table in front of them when sitting down for a meeting, in a bar or when having coffee with friends.

As the screen goes in to "sleep mode" it doesn't display anything. It is an unused and very visible space. Screen Donor uses this space to communicate important information about Doctors of the World. The only thing the user needs to sacrifice is their battery time. A small price to pay for helping people get access to healthcare. Screen Donor is made pro bono for Doctors of the World by JMW and IVEO Stockholm.
