Coinciding with International Women's Day (IWD 2017) on March 8, UN Women National Committee (NC) Australia has launched "Empower a Women, Empower a Nation" to raise awareness and funds to support UN Women's life-changing work in the Pacific and around the world - programs that are focused on empowering women to participate in government, providing them with economic security and ending violence against women. BMF has been commissioned to create a film for IWD 2017 to encourage people to donate and support the work of UN Women, specifically the programs that work to increase women's economic empowerment and leadership opportunities from Pakistan to the Pacific region.
