IKEA visits a galaxy far, far awayToday is the Fourth of May, also known as unofficial Star Wars Day. How come? Well, if you never heard the phrase "May the Fourth be with you", pull out your phone and open your favorite social media you’re bound to find a celebratory joke or two. IKEA is as much a fan as anybody else. But maybe more for the moody, minimalist space-interiors than all things surrounding the force. IKEA may be more synonymous with light Scandinavian homes than the skyscrapers of Coruscant but inspiration exists everywhere right?

And so, to celebrate the iconic movie universe that is Star Wars, IKEA launched two posts on the Fourth of May. The posts highlight how you too can bring a bit of a galaxy far away into your own home. Without spending a fortune on vintage props from one of the movie sets. The rain poncho KNALLA gets you the proper look, while the lamp FORSÅ lends a bit of light to the dark side. Of your room that is.
