The prolific DDB New Zealand has been ranked the world's number one advertising agency in the 8th Annual Bestads Rankings, beating some of the world's biggest advertising names such as BBDO New York, Wieden & Kennedy, Portland, BBH London and Wieden & Kennedy, Amsterdam.
VIEW CHART OF TOP AGENCIES IN 2011MJZ was ranked the number one TVC production company in the world, followed by Biscuit Filmworks and Stink sharing the #2 spot. Gorgeous was placed #4 followed by Revolver in the #5 spot. B-Reel was placed #6, followed by Robbers Dogs and Velocity at equal #7, The Sweet Shop at #9 and Prodigy Films at #10.
VIEW CHART OF TOP PRODUCTION COMPANIES IN 2011For the fourth year running Volkswagen was ranked the number one client in the world, well ahead of second-placed Toyota, third-placed Ikea and fourth-placed Nike. Sharing fifth spot was Coca-Cola, Fedex and Mercedes-Benz. Mars is ranked #8 followed by Heineken at #9 with Cadbury and McDonald's sharing the #10 spot.

Every ad that makes it into the Week's or Month's Best is showcased online and all agencies involved are awarded points. These are then tallied up to give the year's overall rankings.
