 GUEST JUDGE /BEST AD OF THE WEEK   WORLDWIDE    January 23, 2013 01:38 (Edited: February 17, 2023 05:19)
BEST TV
Nike: Vapour Trail. This great film done by W+K trapped us from the first second, an amazing interpretation of this product's benefit. The visual is so rich and at the same time simple and flawless that keeps you hooked to the screen. You don't really know how it's going to play at the end. Or even if you do, you just want to see it again.

Runner Up: IKEA: New Beginnings. A relevant insight, really well executed in 30 seconds. Bullet proof!

BEST PRINT
Telekom Speedy Monitoring: Alien. Simple and relevant insight executed beautifully. The craft level in this campaign brings the edge, making it fresh for the eyes.

Runner Up: Hendrick's Gin: The Unusual Way. A nice thought and a clever art direction solution, for a category that normally presents a bottle standing in front of a plain background.

BEST OUTDOOR
Nissan Patrol: Patrol VS Beethoven. Lateral thinking to test a four-wheel drive. This idea catches you because of the combination of great scale and a sort of surreal thought. Just seeing this two things working together makes you forget that we are actually watching a demo.

Runner Up: French Red Cross: Kid. A clever execution. The visual gimmick feels new for the category even if it's really obvious.

BEST INTERACTIVE
Dick's Sporting Goods: Get Winter Ready. This piece kept us busy at least for 15 minutes. It's really well done and presents a clothing catalogue in a really clever way. Play with it and you'll find out.

Runner Up: Far Cry 3: Insanity Mirror App. This app instantly gives you a feeling of being insane. A nice way to express the product main premise.
