Loto Out Of Office. I loved and enjoyed this spot starring two "office easy riders" that shows what it feels to have the winning ticket, a journey from monotony to awesomeness. The "Mexican-fiesta" version of Steppenwolf's Born to be wild serves as a great soundtrack that sets the mood perfectly.
Runner up:
Coca Cola Tale of Contour. Liked it because it's kind of a reinterpretation of the Happiness factory, a great spot that I love.
BEST PRINTFavorite:
Ducati Traffic. A simple but clear execution to illustrate the advantage of driving a Ducati.
Runner up:
The Art of Shaving: Mustache. Usually women chests catch men attention but in this case this ad makes a good effort to achieve the same objective for a different purpose: lead men into the art of shaving. Funny ad.
BEST OUTDOOR Favorite:
Western Union. I like when an idea has the power to connect cultures and people to overcome problems. This is a good example of how a brand can changes its ordinary activity into something extraordinary and remarkable, turning knowledge into a "currency" for a good purpose is awesome. Good one Peru.
Runner up:
Gull Biofuel: Made by cows. Straight to the point, clearly highlights the benefit of the product and is as clear and eco-friendly as a billboard can get.
BEST INTERACTIVEFavorite:
The Realm System. I liked The Realm System because I believe in its potential of revolutionize the gaming industry and push developers and programmers into a different level. Using technology to redefine the act of play by adding realism, physical benefits and turning entertainment into a powerful tool to collect data makes it brilliant.
Runner up:
Screen Donor. Disabling sleep mode of mobiles and giving visibility to their screens to deliver a message is something I found smart.
This week's guest judge is Carlos Camacho, executive creative director at Lowe Vietnam.
Colombian-born Camacho joined Lowe Vietnam in early 2014 from Lowe SSP3 Bogota. He was the youngest and most awarded ECD from Latin America to be hired in Vietnam. Within eight months, his work with Lowe Vietnam won at every major global and regional advertising festival, and truly put Vietnam on the global creativity map. From Vietnam's first ever Gold at Cannes, to its best ever performance at Spikes; its first Epica, and the most MMA Smarties for any local agency. Lowe emerged as the most awarded Vietnam agency of 2014, and ever.
Carlos has worked with partner brands such as Unilever, Coca-Cola, Nestle, Honda, Merck SD, General Motors and the Colombian Ministry of Defence, and has participated in the jury pools of festivals in Latin America, Europe and Asia. He remains passionate about the creative potential in South East Asia and the sharing of ideas between cultures and continents.
