 GUEST JUDGE /BEST AD OF THE WEEK   AUSTRALIA    July 26, 2016 08:38 (Edited: February 17, 2023 05:19)
BEST TV
Winner: Air New Zealand "Safety in Hollywood". It's a quirky and funny 5 minute in-flight safety video following their Hobbit one from 2 years ago. They have redefined safety videos with its fun and creative approach which reflects the Kiwi sense of humour.

Runner up: Hillary Clinton Presidential Campaign "Role Models". This Hillary Clinton 60 second attack ad uses some of Donald Trump's most terrible moments against him. It's smart to let Trump speak for himself and show what it looks like when children hear his words before showing Clinton as a voice of reason.

BEST PRINT
Winner: Dutch Mill Co: "Man". I like this campaign not because it's from my country, but because it's a great work that sells the strength of Arabus coffee by portraying an otherwise harmless sleepy moment in the viral social media context in which we all live. Simple, clever and very funny.

Runner up: Honda BIZ "Agenda". This print campaign makes me realise how long I wast my time in a traffic yearly, and it's true. I sometimes get out of a car and hop on a motorbike taxi in Bangkok to save my time too. Nice insight and art direction.

BEST OUTDOOR
Winner: IKEA It's that affordable "Table". For IKEA, price is one of their key advantages. This print campaign simply and cleverly illustrates how cheap and affordable IKEA products are with a very simple and clever approach.

Runner up: Adventure World "Mistaken Identity". It's fun to see someone
making fun of Pokemon Go. Adventure World uses its missing mascot in a case of mistaken identity to promote their opening date. Funny one!

BEST INTERACTIVE
Winner: TAC "Meet Graham". The human designed to survive our roads. I like the idea and its interactive experience in which we can explore the anatomy of a figure evolved to survive car crashes. Brilliant idea and stunningly executed.

(No runner up in Interactive for me).
