Created to showcase local produce, the McLaren Vale Food and Wine festival has in recent years lost some of its focus. Increasingly it was all about the wine and not much else. Showpony Adelaide's idea was to reset the balance and remind punters about the relationship between food and wine. Simple powerful iconography tells an immediate and deliberate story. Food and wine enjoyed together.

You're not you when you're hungry. When you fall victim to hunger you can lose your concentration and do some pretty stupid things. So BBDO, Moscow used the stupidity of members of the general public to warn of the dangers of a "hunger attack". The victims of hunger were now exposed and made accessible to everyone. We encouraged and empowered the public to mark examples they'd spotted on the street using our mobile app or Google Street View bookmarklet, and uploading them to our 'Hunger Attack' website.

And every year energy supplier, Energex urges people to secure loose objects before storms hit.To extend last Summer's mainstream campaign Clemenger BBDO, Brisbane created an ambient event to get the message across in a relevant outdoor setting. In one of the busiest parts of the city, we launched floating foam silhouettes of everyday objects into the sky that could be seen for miles around.

To give new designers a little help, DDB Group New Zealand along with clothing company AS Colour, took t-shirt designing to the street.
