Biography

Amod Dani graduated from the Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad in 2005 and soon started his career as a copywriter in Doha, Qatar with Lowe.


After a short stint in the Middle East he relocated to his hometown Mumbai in India, with an opportunity to work with Lowe’s Mumbai office. At Lowe he worked on brands such as the Indian telecommunications giant Idea cellular, Uniliver brands such as Surf, Wheel and Liril, while also working on popular domestic brands such as Camlin and Star One entertainment channel.


In April of 2006 his career path leapfrogged when he made the transition to Leo Burnett India from Lowe: Soon becoming one of the youngest Creative Directors in the network.


As a Creative Director at Leo Burnett he has steered some popular work on brands such as McDonald’s, Tata Capital, Tata Salt, Tide, Heinz and Reliance Communications. Besides these brands he has been a constructive force behind the agency’s passionate drive towards creative excellence.


Throughout his career his work has been recognized and lauded by award shows such as the New York Festivals, the One show, the Clio awards, the Food & Beverages Awards, Spikes Asia, AdFest Asia, the Award Award and the Cannes Lions. His work has also been showcased in the Communication Arts and the Work 2010.


Besides being a workaholic Amod is also a hardcore Sachin Tendulkar & an Arsenal fan.


His greatest moment in life was when India lifted the Cricket World-Cup in 2011.
