Biography

He has won over 190 advertising creative and effectivity awards, including Golds and other precious metals and certificates at D&AD, Clio, One Show, AWARD Awards, DMA ECHO, Asia Pacific Adfest, Bangkok Adman Awards, Spikes Asia, Digital Media Awards, London International Awards, Times Asia-Pacific Advertising Awards, Communication Arts and has helped the Academy of Art University develop its online advertising course.

As ECD of Lowe Malaysia, Brandie now oversees the campaigns of F&N Dairies, PlayTV Asia, Etiqa, Walls, IKEA and Unilever.

He started at BBDO Guerrero in 2000 as an Art Director handling Pizza Hut, Pepsi, Visa and FedEx, where in 2003 he became the most awarded art director in the Philippine Ad Congress, Araw Awards.

In 2007 Brandie, along with his creative partner Tin Sanchez, won the Philippines' first-ever Gold Lion for their work on the Lotus Spa Radio Campaign for JWT Philippines.

In the same year, he became one of the Joint Executive Creative Directors of Lowe Vietnam and helped the agency win numerous awards, including Cannes.

Brandie returned to BBDO Guerrero in 2008 as Head of Art and helped create the popular 'Lola Techie' campaign for Bayan Telecommunications, which won grand prize at the Philippine Ad Congress and other Golds including Asian Digital Media Awards.

In 2010, he was promoted to become Joint Executive Creative Directors, along with Tin Sanchez, and handled brands such as FedEx, Johnson & Johnson, Quaker Oats, Pepsi, Bayan DSL, Dole Fruits & Vegetables Asia, and the recent Philippine Department of Tourism campaign, to name a few.

Brandie is a graduate of the College of Fine Arts at the University of the Philippines. He took post-graduate studies in Advertising Design at the Academy of Art University, San Francisco.

He is also a runner, photographer, fixed gear bike rider and a slave to two black cats named Jack and Bruce.
