Biography

Cameron grew up on a farm in country Victoria. But has spent most of his life in the cities of Melbourne and Sydney.

During his career at Clemenger BBDO, Campaign Palace and DDB he's not only created some of Australia's most loved campaigns, he's help build some of Australia's and the world's most iconic brands. Such as Foster's 'Pure Blonde', Lion Nathan's 'Hahn Premium Light', Bonds, Telstra, McDonald's, Volkswagen, NAB, Panasonic, Lumix, Sorbent, Libra, Twisties, Mercedes-Benz, and Westpac.

In 2011 he presided over the relaunch of Australia's largest company, Telstra. Overseeing the introduction of a fresh corporate identity and new brand and retail campaigns. The relaunch has lead to over one million new customers joining Telstra in 8 months, as well as unprecedented brand preference scores.

In 2012 he was appointed Creative Director of another one of the regions largest advertisers - McDonald's Australasia. The following year saw their best ever performance at Cannes, winning 2 Gold, a Silver and Bronze Lions. He currently also sits on DDB's Global McDonald's Council.

AWARDS
As a Creative and Creative Director, Cam has won almost all major national and international awards. Just a few of the highlights are; Gold, 2 Silver and 3 Bronze Cannes Lions (10 Shortlist), 14 AWARD Pencils, Clio Silver, One Show Bronze, 2 D&AD selections, 3 Silver Adfest Asia Awards, 4 Gold Effies and 2 Gold and 2 Silver New York Festival Medals.

OTHER CAREER ACHIEVEMENTS
In 2013 Cam represented Australia on the Cannes Lions Press Jury. He's been AWARD TV and Cinema Jury Chairman and AWARD Print and Poster Jury Chairman. He has also been elected to the AWARD committee, which included running 'The AWARD School' nationally for two years. He's been a jury member of numerous other national and international award shows like Adfest Asia, New York Festivals, Caxtons, The Melbourne Advertising and Design Club Awards, Brisbane Advertising and Design Awards (Jury Chairman) and The Perth Advertising and Design Club Awards.
