Biography

Ant became ECD of Clemenger BBDO Melbourne in 1997.

Under his guidance, the agency saw one of its most highly awarded periods and was ranked as the top ten agencies worldwide by the Gunn Report. He was ranked second on the list of top Australian Creative Directors for three years by Campaign Brief magazine.

Ant directed many of his own ads and during this time was ranked in the top 5 commercial directors in Australia.

In 2003 Ant started his own creative agency Creative Outlet. Winning clients such as Holeproof, Portmans, Sakata and The Victorian Government.

In 2005, Ant became ECD of Grey in Australia. Grey Melbourne quickly tasted success with Gold at the One Show, took the second spot in Melbourne’s creative agency rankings and has moved into the top ten positions within Australia. Ant also helped form Grey’s Global Creative Council.

Ant has been involved in thirteen Cannes Lions awards.

In 2011 Ant was Creative Director on the TAC Ripple Effect campaign, which won a lion in the coveted integrated category.

Ant in conjunction with Creative Outlet has recently started up his own creative consultancy, Shannon & Co.

Shannon & Co. has recently completed successful campaigns for Leggos, John West and Kmart.
