No-one can do it all, but everyone can do something – and together we can make a difference. In times like these, when feelling more and more isolated, Telenor wants to spread a feeling of communion in, and with the help from, Sweden. With the initiative, 'A_small_greeting', Telenor are calling upon people to change their WIFI names to greetings and advice on how we can protect one another – to send messages to people who are located within the reach of their wireless networks. With the initiative 'A_Small_Greeting', Telenor wants to create a feeling of communion and contribute to the spread of information by using the many connections between people created by the thousands of wireless networks all over Sweden. This creates a sense of fellowship between people who can’t meet in person, even if they are close enough to each other to connect to the same wireless networks. In a world that has become quite isolated, Telenor wants to remind people that they aren’t alone – that everyone can get through this together, and at the same time remind people about how we best can protect each other. For those who want to spread the recommendations from Sweden’s Public Health Agency’s, Telenor advises people to find inspiration for their new WIFI names on the department’s website, but they’ve also listed tips on their own website. The initiative, which has been developed with NORD DDB, will be spread via short information videos, podcasts and a collaboration with the quiz app Primetime. Information on how to rename your WIFI can be found at your Internet operator. When changing your WIFI name, you might have to reconnect your phone, computer and other devices to the renamed router.
