Virgin Media shines a light on incredible children in its second Covid-19 TV film, which aims to lift the nation's spirits by showcasing kids having fun while singing at home during lockdown. Virgin Media's latest film, created by adam&everywhereDDB, will first feature on Friday 15th May on ITV during Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and on Channel 4 during Gogglebox. With media planned and bought by Manning Gottlieb OMD, the film will also be shared across online, VOD, and Virgin Media's social platforms. As adults and children across the UK continue adapting to life in lockdown, keeping connected to the things and people they love has never been more important. Whether it’s working from home, home schooling or staying in touch with friends for the now weekly staple Zoom quiz, everyone is adjusting to the new way of life. Inspired by the love, laughter and morale boosting, TikTok busting stories from the public, Virgin Media wanted to pair its Virgin spirit with the incredible talents of these children in a bid to lift spirits and make people smile. Capturing positivity and creativity that’s been echoed across the internet over the past few weeks, Virgin Media’s new film features 30 children aged from 7-14, who took time between their busy homeschooling schedules to take part in virtual sessions and record themselves singing the classic 1987 Starship track ‘Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now’ – which perfectly sums up the youngsters’ resilience during these challenging circumstances.
