In the difficult situation we're going through, with people having to stay at home, the blood banks are experiencing a severe decrease in their inventories. And all at a time when people most need blood. Leo Burnett Brazil therefore created an impactful campaign to call people's attention and put the subject back in evidence. The Good Blood Club is experiencing low inventories due to the pandemic. People are staying in quarantine and only leave their homes for urgent matters, like going to the supermarket or the drugstore. We needed a campaign to motivate people to do something else that is also urgent: giving blood to help people. Leo Burnett Brazil created a campaign with the idea of show that, in our everyday lives, we often waste chances to save lives by giving blood. We show that people already “give” blood in everyday situations, like scraping a knee while skateboarding, being stung by a mosquito, getting small cuts in the kitchen or even with a paper cut. So why wouldn’t we give blood to those most in need? Especially in these critical times.
