Multi-faceted production house, Stept Studios, has produced a new film, which launched Thanksgiving Day, for Nike’s 'Stronger Than One' campaign. Featuring NFL quarterback Deshaun Watson of the Houston Texans, the spot was helmed by director Joshua Kissi. The 'Stronger than One' campaign elevates the voices of NFL athletes as they empower young athletes to create positive change in their communities. As part of Nike’s continued commitment to move the world forward through sport, the docu-series features stories of professional football players giving back, off the field. Debuted on Thursday 26th November, the latest instalment features Deshaun as he outfits the Jack Yates High School football team with new team uniforms that further the conversation of social justice, in the pursuit of equality. The words ‘Breathe,’ ‘Brotherhood,’ and ‘GF,’ standing for George Floyd, were incorporated into the team’s new jerseys, to advance the message for racial justice in the Houston Third Ward community and honour the legacy of the Jack Yates High School football team, and school alumnus, George Floyd. This campaign highlights Nike’s support of players across the sports community in addressing systemic racism in America. In pursuit of equal opportunity and justice for all Black people, Nike, Inc. continues to invest in schools and grassroots organisations across the country that are focused on advancing a more just and equitable society. Airing throughout the remaining NFL season, 'Stronger Than One' aims to empower the next generation by spotlighting the ways in which these athletes are creating positive, lasting change through inspiration, investment, and action within their communities. Upcoming episodes will feature Josh Jacobs of the Las Vegas Raiders, New York Giant Saquon Barkley, Odell Beckham Jr. of the Cleveland Browns, Tennessee Titans Derrick Henry, and more. The premier episode of the campaign highlighted Aaron Donald, a defensive tackle for the Los Angeles Rams, also produced by Stept Studios.
