British Gas has launched a new campaign, highlighting the ways its customers can have a positive impact on the environment through its sustainable energy solutions and services. The campaign is inspired by the truth that households are looking for simple, everyday ways to be more environmentally conscious, without having to go to extremes. The creative approach shows how ‘You can go green without the extreme’ and playfully applauds the extremity to which environmentally friendly habits can be taken, whilst nodding to British Gas’ sustainable solutions. These solutions range from all electricity tariffs being zero carbon as standard to protecting up to ten trees each year for every customer on its Green Future tariff. There are also 1.6m customers on 100% renewable electricity tariffs. Going live across social media channels for four weeks, the campaign - whilst playful in tone - reflects British Gas’ commitment to providing long-term viable green solutions.
