Parks Victoria manages more than 4 million hectares of park land, coastline and wetlands, attracting over 100 million visitors each year.But the majority of the 100 million visitors are all drawn to the same tourist destinations which can lead to destruction and damage due to over use.Knowing that each destination is only popular because of it's presence on social media, Parks Victoria found a unique way to encourage tourists to visit places that weren't socially famous.
Unseen Places saw Park Rangers capturing photos of unknown landscapes that had never been featured on social media, then encouraged tourists to go find these 'Unseen Places'.
