Dark Horses has launched this outdoor stunt for vehicle leasing company Vanarama. A week after much media speculation and causing a flurry of tweets (one from Ryan Reynolds himself) Vanarama claimed responsibility for the mysterious Hollywood style Wrexham sign that stands on the hills above Welsh town Wrexham. The reveal saw Vanarama place an even bigger banner on the upper slopes of the slag heap, reading ‘VANARAMA NATIONAL LEAGUE SEASON PREMIERE AUG 21’ and claimed ownership of the stunt, one day before the first game of the season. Last year the town’s football club, Wrexham AFC was bought by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenny and Ryan Reynolds tweeted earlier this week to state he was not responsible for the sign but wished he was.
