RFSU: Cheating Scandal, 2

The latest move in the sex toy cheating scandal. The cheating controversy rocking the chess world just took a new turn. Nordic contraception and pleasure brand RFSU has joined the game with a campaign that returns the butt plug to its rightful position – the hero. It's not often that the mainstream world of sports shines the spotlight on chess, but allegations of a cheating scandal centered around sex toys have turned this into one of the most bizarre sports scandals in recent memory. On Sept. 19, Norwegian World No. 1 chess champion Magnus Carlsen unexpectedly resigned while playing against American Hans Niemann in the sixth round of the Julius Baer Generation Cup, and accused him of cheating. And the speculation didn't die down. A strange cheating rumor began spreading – even Tesla CEO Elon Musk got involved – when a Reddit post suggested that Niemann could have used a sex toy to cheat. Now, the Nordic contraception and pleasure brand RFSU is getting into the game through an activation where the butt plug is freed from all the cheating accusations. The campaign was developed together with the creative agency Valtech Radon and is activated outdoors and in social media in Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark.
