Scapegrace Distilling Co.: Whisky Beyond Its Time

Distilled on the edge of the earth in Central Otago, New Zealand, Scapegrace whisky sees the new day before the rest of the world. Free from the ties of tradition, Scapegrace is carving a category of its own, straying from old school whisky distilling methods.So to promote the launch of their first ever whisky, we ran this print ad in the Courier (a local Scottish newspaper), as a message from the future. Scotland has a rich distilling history dating back to the 1400s, so we decided to give the old world a taste of the new world. The image was even dated and timestamped to prove it was really taken in future. On the 25th of October we ran an ad that was captured on the 26th.
