Pizza Hut: Pizza Hunt: Find the delivery guy, order free pizza, eat it IRLTop 6 this week
When it comes to first person shooter games, headshots and a strong Kill-Death ratio are what we live for. But stocking up on supplies like ammo, money and food, are just as important for survival. Both in and out of the game.
So when Call of Duty Warzone introduced Proximity Chat - a function that allows players to hear and talk using headsets when their in-game characters are close together - it was a complete game-changer for how we communicate on the virtual battlefield. And just days after its release, we figured out how to use it for pizza. That's where Pizza Hunt was born. We partnered with famous gamers who played as "delivery people" and asked the gaming community to track them down in Al Mazrah, a map in Warzone. Once found, players could place an order for a free pizza in-game, and get it delivered IRL. No browsers, no apps, no phones necessary. In a game that has no pause button, we made sure players could game longer uninterrupted, to help fuel the good times on and off the battlefield.
