Steve Bendelack and his producer Pam Asbury have been flat out directing "Brand Aid" for Comic Relief written by Chris Bovill and John Allison at Fallon, London. The idea behind ‘Brand Aid’ was to assemble a group of advertising icons past and present such as the Honey Monster, Smash Martian and the PG Tips Monkey, put them all in a room together and ask them come up with a way to raise money for Comic Relief, an inspired idea that Steve relished shooting. Bendelack says about ‘Brand Aid’, ‘how brilliant to work with all those advertising icons in one room and for such a good cause, I was especially honoured to meet the Smash Martian’.
