Kia Soul: Kia Soul Microsite

Top 6: July 22nd 2009
As part of the Kia Soul campaign, LA-based independent creative agency David&Goliath recently created http://www.kiasoul.com, a website that offers viewers an immersive, interactive experience.

From being able to choose the color of the Soul to clicking on the sheep in the background (which makes a “baaaa” sound), every component on the site was built with a purpose, whether to entertain, inform or illicit a response and action.

The site also features the wildly popular “Hamster” spot with 4 different music tracks, allowing users to download a full mp3 of each song for free.

In addition, D&G created “Escape from Hamsterdam,” a video game that lives on the site. Users launch a digital hamster out of his terrarium to reach the furthest distance possible by bouncing from one Soul to another.
