Baby carrots are the new chips, the new cool snack, the new junk food. A bunch of carrot farmers are trying to sell baby carrots as junk food, and it’s working.

The “Eat ‘em Like Junk Food” campaign was, according to the videos, started by a bunch of carrot farmers that want people to get excited about carrots, and stop thinking about them as boring vegetables.

The marketing campaign via Crispin, Porter + Bogusky, Boulder uses the same tactics as soda and junk food commercials, but mocks those tactics at the same time.
