Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand's task was not only to recruit young New Zealanders into the Army, but to excite them at the prospect of seeing if they "have what it takes". What better way to to speak to young kiwis, than through the use of youtube. For the first time in New Zealand we created an interactive game on Youtube. The game was a replica of the actual NZ Army Rifle Range, using the same rifle the infantry use. People could test their skill on the range, unlock all the badges, learn about the NZ Army along the way, share and post their scores on Facebook.

If they proved they have what it takes and finish the game, they are directed to the Army Jobs site.

We also included 3 documentaries showcasing various roles in the army, and 3 new recruits being put to the test to see if they "have what it takes".
