CLM BBDO, Boulogne Billancourt launches New Campaign for Celebrations (Mars Group) Let anyone who’s never gloated cast the first stone.Birthdays, new years and the happy milestones that mark out our lives are all great occasions to open a box of Celebrations. But let’s not deceive ourselves: while we enjoy all these moments of shared joy, we’re even keener on the times we share with just a couple of friends, often at a third party’s expense.
Ha! Two young challengers rejoice as the favourite of a gymnastics tournament misses the bar and falls headlong across the mat.
Ha! The joy of parents as their son, already well into adulthood, finally leaves the comfort of the family home to face the harsh reality of real life.
Ha! The unbridled delight of schoolchildren on being informed they’ll have a day off due to the bus driver’s unfortunate accident.

With these three irresistible examples, the CLM BBDO-designed campaign for Celebrations (Mars group) invites us to give in to schadenfreude. In doing so, it shrewdly decompartmentalises the consumption of the festive chocolates, clearly the biggest problem on this market.
