While millions of viewers were glued to their tubes watching this year’s Super Bowl commercials, millions more viewed the game online. And when they went to http://geworks.nbcsports.com/, they also had a chance to become part of a unique interactive experience.GE’s “Performance Machines” took some of the NFL’s top players and pitted them against GE’s super machines in nine interactive man-against-machine battles. Fans were invited to help each athlete win the competitions using their voice and keyboard in these interactive games. The site utilized 591 videos to create a, nonlinear experience, while also demonstrating how Super Bowl entertainment can live outside a 30-second spot. Agency: BBDO New York
