Airbnb is a pioneer in social innovation, so it was only appropriate that their first global campaign would be the same. So MullenSF created "Hollywood & Vines" a first-of-its-kind short film, directed via Twitter and shot entirely on Vine. Working with award-winning screenwriter Ben York Jones, they created the storyline - the transformative journey of a simple piece of paper. Once the script was set, director Miles Jay of B-Reel began tweeting out Vine directions to the world. He then opened a Twitter dialog with the most prolific Viners, helping to create the perfect shots. Submissions from all over the world, including Hong Kong, Kuwait, and San Francisco came in. After a week of editing, roughly 100 submissions from the community shared in the creation of the final film that embodies the Airbnb mission: an artful story about travel, adventure, and finding your place in the world.
