Vivo telephone operator launched a campaign to promote the Vivo Online Top-Up service. Created by the agency Wunderman Brazil, the 100%-digital action is composed of banners and sites and an animated webfilm to air on YouTube, Facebook and the operator’s channels.

With the concept “Why the hassle?” the communication uses animation resources and a fable-like narrative to introduce the advantages of the Online Recharge service in Vivo clients’ lives: http://youtu.be/PiQOoIADOWg.

In the rhythm of a musical, the scenes portray situations one may encounter when standing in line to recharge the cell phone, such as feeling cold, frying under the sun, waiting, get nervous with whoever is behind you and so on. The announcer asks: "If you’re always online, why go through the hassle to recharge your Vivo?".

“With the educational character and the tale’s simple and musical language, we point out that this ‘hassle’ of recharging the phone may settled with a happy ending, thanks to the practicality of Vivo Online Top-Up,” concludes Fabio Matiazzi, Creative director at Wunderman Brazil. The agency designed the characters in a partnership with the producer Vetor Zero. In all, there are over 20. The finish brought the amiable characters to life in 3D with rich characterizations, great detail and facial expressions. The sound track was also created by Wunderman Brazil, in a partnership with producer Lua Nova.

Besides the webfilm, the campaign also counts on social network activations and an online strategy. The creation was by Guilherme Medici, Lucas Santos, Daniel Ribeiro, Samuel Normando and Eloisa Vasconcellos, with Paulo Sanna and Fabio Matiazzi as creative directors.
