You are in a large city with your car, your favorite store your destination, but right infront, there is only a small parking spot what do you do? You ask your passenger to get out and help with parking. Or, you trust in the technology and the automatic parking assistant. Leo Burnett relocated the technology for this feature of Fiat 500 outside the car by creating an interactive parking billboard: Different protagonists react to the cars infront of the parking spot and assist with parking. This innovative billboard demonstrates in a very pleasant way how easy, how stress-free and safe it is to park with the Fiat parking assistant. For the realization of the creative idea, Viktor Kislovskij, Creative Technologist at Leo Burnett, Frankfurt developed a special software which synchronizes the movements of the filmed hands to the distance of the next vehicle. Ultrasonic sensors were attached to the video billboard and the vehicle behind which observed the parking maneuvers and operated correspondingly to the gesture of the assistants on the video billboard.
