Sonovision Studios in Rivonia is generally regarded as one of, if not THE best sound recording facilities in South Africa. Agency Doo115 was approached by the owners of Sonovision Studios to re-launch the brand to the South African advertising industry.
In addition to creating a refreshed corporate identity for the company, we created a campaign to introduce the industry to the new CI and to reinforce the single minded message of the brand.To do this we went back to the basic premise on which Sonovision Studios had built their reputation as a leader in their field over the past 20 years.To illustrate this promise, the agency produced 2 online videos which would carry this message.
In addition, the idea from one of the ads was extended to a print ad in an industry publication, a direct mail campaign as well as an e-mail campaign. All 3 these media were geared towards driving the recipients to a revamped Sonovision Studios website where the videos would appear on the landing page.The online videos implement the principle of how far Sonovision would go to get the right sound for the right occasion. Whatever it takes.
A poster representing the idea of one of the online videos was hand delivered to each of the top 10 advertising agencies in Johannesburg. The poster included a QR Code as well as a URL, which leads back to the Sonovision website’s landing page where the video is hosted.An email with an interactive attachment that included the same concept as the poster was sent to the top creative directors, art directors and copywriters in Johannesburg. A hyperlink in the attachment would also take the recipient directly to the video on the landing page of Sonovision's website.
