It comes as a shock to most of our citizens that Ireland is one of the most energy dependent countries in Europe. A staggering 85% of our needs come through imports and we produce only 15% domestically. But yet we are one of the best placed countries in the world to harness an energy that’s clean, renewable and in every corner of our country. Rothco created a campaign on behalf of the Irish Wind Energy Association (IWEA) to highlight to the people of Ireland that we have the power to power ourselves.
