Ireland is in the throes of commemorating the Centenary of Rebellion of Easter 1916, the event that is generally regarded as having led to Ireland's independence from Great Britain six years later. However 100 years on and some of Ireland's citizen are still fighting for their lives on the streets of Dublin.
The purpose of the piece is to highlight the fact that in 2016 no-one should still be fighting for their lives on the streets of Dublin.
The campaign from Irish International BBDO will remind the public that while the centenary celebrations are focused on "Remembrance, Reflection and Reimagine" there are large numbers of our community still struggling for their basic fundamental human rights.

Filmed around Dublin in some of the most iconic places that the rising was fought, GPO, Four Courts, Mount Street Bridge, Moore Street and Dublin Castle, the piece features Tommy KD, who is an actor, singer and who is also homeless. Tommy carries around with him a sleeping bag emblazoned with the proclamation of the declaration of independence that was read out by the leaders of the Easter Rising in 1916.
