We've all seen made-for-television spots posted on Facebook in the hope that it’ll fly as content. It's nothing new.
But what happens when you flip things around and run a genuine made-for-online film on TV?We'll, thanks to a brave move by Tasmanian Health Services, we’re about to find out.The "Hands off our Ambos" campaign, originally posted in Adelaide by SA Health, as an 84 second online film, has just been launched in Tasmania, as a 30 second television commercial.Filmed on an iPhone 3, using real paramedics, the original online film generated over 1 million views and was shared 15,000 times within weeks of being posted.It was also awarded for its creativity and effectiveness at Cannes, NY Festivals, AME, AC&E, Globals, Mobius and the W3 awards.
