Porsche announced recently that it was retiring the 919 Hybrid from the circuit. In true Porsche style, the sports car manufacturer organized a global tribute tour for this iconic racing legend with a total of 13 stops around the world. Bangkok, whose name means ‘the great city of immortals’ in Thai, was aptly selected as the only destination in Southeast Asia for the 919 Hybrid, which itself was immortalized in the World Endurance Championship with 20 pole positions, 17 race victories, 6 World Championship titles, and 3 Le Mans victories all achieved within a remarkable four years. To commemorate part of its global swansong, Porsche Asia Pacific has released a new film that captured the legendary 919 Hybrid taking on the lively streets of Bangkok. Agency: Keko, Singapore
