While the South Australian National Football League (SANFL) is well known for promoting menâs football, they also run innovative sporting programs for local communities. This includes Indigenous, womenâs and regional sports programs.
Under the banner of âWe Love Footyâ, an outdoor campaign by Showpony Advertising, was created to promote these programs. Using program participants as ambassadors, creative was shaped around their defining athletic attribute, and brought to life in the most appropriate media.
Jono Beech or âBeechyâ, part of SANFLâs regional sports program, is renowned for taking spectacular marks. Accordingly, the âHigh Flying Beechyâ execution appeared on one of Adelaideâs most prominent, elevated outdoor sights. The artwork was designed to blend seamlessly with the clear sky (when the weather cooperated!).
