The Great Race is the world's oldest offshore powerboat race and THE national event in Trinidad and Tobago. It is globally sanctioned and has been running for over 50 years - so the locals know the race and the teams extremely well. We were tasked with getting people talking about the race before it happens and increasing interest for OOH. This not a circuit race in a protected bay but a point-to-point race across open water. With waves so big, we quickly realised these boats spend as much time out of the water as they do on it.
