 GUEST JUDGE /BEST AD OF THE WEEK   WORLDWIDE    February 20, 2023 13:56 (Edited: February 21, 2023 00:56)
BEST TV
Winner Axe 'Oops I Forgot This at Your Place Collection'. I found this idea brilliant. It is more than a film; it's a platform. Product usage and fragrance duration done in a clever way. We're all used to see films with traditional application scenes but in this case the product plays a different and more important role. Since scents have the power to bring us great memories, why not use this in our favor as well? Also, big props to the copywriters, I am a huge fan of slapstick humor.

Runner-up: General Motors / Netflix 'What if this were an EV?'. Just having Will Farrell as the main character, the film already deserves a mention. In this case is not only about his great acting skills but also a nice and funny story really well crafted.

BEST PRINT
Winner: The Hello Project 'The Light Is Still On'. The copy really dragged me to the situation. What a brilliant piece of copywriting. Well balanced; humor, routine and later on apprehension. I love print ads with long copies where you get hooked and simply cannot stop reading. Thumbs up for the team.

Runner-up: Telstar 'Bob Marley'. We all know that music emits sound waves and how these sound waves are shown on water to emphasize that the speaker is waterproof is incredibly beautifully. Effective, very simple to understand.

BEST OUTDOOR
Winner: Tinder 'Love is in the AI (Moscow)'. Love should be a universal right for every human being, unfortunately some forms of love are not allowed in specific countries. Tinder as a portal where every relationship should be treasured took inspiration in an AI image generator to elevate the message that love shouldn't be imagined actually every kind of love should be a reality everywhere.

Runner-up: KFC 'Valentine's Day Burger King'. Pig backing on the trend "collaboration between competitors". Burger King did it in a very charming way.

BEST INTERACTIVE
Winner: Fire & Emergency NZ 'Smokey'. Important topic where most of us would probably speak about in a more serious and dramatic way. I found interesting to use humor as the trigger to remember people to check their smoke detectors. How they made the idea escalate through different channels even involving kids' education is also unseen.

Love & Nudes 'The Stage Zero Collection'. Even though this topic has already been discussed in exhaustion on award shows, the fact that women with darker skin are mistreated deserves a big attention.
