After last year's Match.com, Jean Lecointre
has now just finished directing the three first episodes of
the Oasis more fun.com saga. The same
anthropomorphic fruits we saw in the TV commercials are now
released onto the web, free to behave as badly as they wish,
always culminating in them getting smashed to pulp.
Inspired by the well-known series Turkish Delights,
the films were done by using paper cut outs put together
with Photoshop then animated with After Effects.

Part of the NBA's new "Where amazing happens" campaign from Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, San Francisco, the spot shows Seattle rookie Kevin Durant heading from the locker room to the court before a game. As he strolls to a jazzy beat and approaches the roar of the crowd, he strips off a seemingly endless series of jerseys (there are six in all). The jerseys wordlessly tell the story of Durant's rise to the NBA. Those skills don't come from nowhere, and the clothing symbolizes the stages in his life as a basketball phenom—starting out with the Capitol Heights Boys and Girls Club though his high school, college and pro careers. The tagline is amended to "Where wearing the dream happens." That goes both for Durant and those of us watching the trip.

Foxtel has balls. Lots of them. Big ones. From all over the world. Shot in two days in Sydney, Australia, this spot via Area 51 Creative, Sydney hightlights Foxtel's penchant for balls, both local and international. One day was spent in the rocks recreating Italy, London and Brasil (Holland was shot at the Berry Windmills, outside Sydney. The cow is 3D), the other day shooting the airport scenes. Only the airport scenes have 3D balls.
