Eden Diebel

Biography

Eden started working in the film industry in London as a film and TV editor. He worked primarily on TV promos and film trailers for Warner Brothers, Fox and Universal Pictures.

Three years later he moved into directing music videos, first in London and then in Los Angeles. He directed over sixty music videos in eight years covering almost all the genres of music. In 1997 he won an award for best short form video at the Dove awards, Los Angeles.

Eden then began his commercials career in style, being selected by London’s Campaign Magazine in 1998 as one of the 10 Best New Directors in the World, on the basis of two test commercials. That same year he was selected for the prestigious Saatchis showcase in Cannes.

The following year he was in Cannes again, picking up a Bronze Lion for France Telecom, announcing a growing body of work for blue chip clients in the UK, Europe and the USA.

Further awards followed including Kinsale, The Canadian Advertising Awards and the Midsummer Awards London. In 2001 he was nominated as one of the top twenty directors in the world in Shoot Magazine USA.

In 2005 he visited the Cannes once more, picking up two Gold Lions for AppealNow.com.

Since then he has been living and working in Sydney and shooting the world over.

Recently his clients have included National Bank New Zealand, McDonald’s, Tiger Beer, Volkswagen, Telstra, KFC, Kellogg’s, Kraft, Bank of Melbourne, Bayer and Bupa.
