Starting a company is tough enough, but when you have a business idea that has no merit whatsoever, it’s even tougher. With that in mind, TriNet via TDA Boulder created an advertising campaign highlighting the fact that not all start ups are created equally.
The campaign leverages empty storefront spaces in a number of entrepreneurial-minded cities across the country by dressing them with irrational, faux start up branding and business signage, making each appear as if the business were real.
Pedestrians intrigued by these “faux start ups” will see a TriNet message on the door of each “closed” business, explaining how “some startups are just destined for failure” but that others “simply need a little help” along the way to succeed: a partner like TriNet.
These faux startups will also have billboards, interactive banners and landing pages that highlight their ludicrous business idea, accompanied by messaging explaining that the startups that TriNet can help actually do have a chance to succeed.
