I have only had this place week, so I can't recognize how long it can last. I put mine in the plastic ziplock bag to shield it, and so I don't need to clean it when I have spills with the food prep. It stays inside the bag, and I just punch the keys with the bag. I can still make out the print easily.

I've had this scale around 3 months now and I purchased it primarily to weigh ingredients for baking. It's great that you have a tare button to ensure I can just place a bowl within the scale and tare it and weigh out my ingredients. Sometimes I will need to press the tare button a few times because the scale may be pretty sensitive. I can also declare that it's pretty sturdy because I dropped it pretty hard once and I was afraid it turned out broken nevertheless it still works perfectly fine. The only qualm I have on this is that it doesn't measure to your tenth's set up grams, which isn't too big of an deal, but it really's weird make the some of the creative options to measure towards the tenth's place. Overall though, I really like this scale and delay pills work pretty well.
