Mario Haller Destillate: Happy Pear

Mario Haller is a Swiss boutique producer of fruit brandy. One of his editions is made in the tradition of our grandfathers. The fruits are allowed to ripen naturally, with no pesticides involved, and none of the trees in the local area is artificially fertilised. Every pear is carefully picked by hand – an approach that produced the Vintage Edition, which is produced using untreated, 'fortunate' fruits. On a website with a yodeling competition you can yodel in the tradition of our grandfathers. The star of the website is an animated pear-character - the same as on the label of the Vintage-Edition. Whoever plays a funny yodel-melody with the keyboard, could win a bottle of Pear Brandy. After yodeling, a machine distills the melody into a fine pear brandy for sharing with a friend.
